Recent Book Activity

I've been an avid reader all my life, and remember spending every summer reading as many books as possible from the library--we never had a TV when I was a child! I'm also a terrible book-a-holic.
For 10 years now I've organized a book exchange at my kids' elementary school; I shop at thrift stores and yard sales, buying over 800 kids books each year so that every child gets 1"free" book at the book exchange...that way even if a child has no book to trade, they still get the free one! The problem is I also bring home a "few" books for myself each time and now I have stacks of them. I've enjoyed many of them but some I'll never have time to read, so "off into the wild" they'll go.
