July 11, 2006 *turns around and around in a circle* Some sweet little angel gave me some wings. I don't even know how long I've had them. I do want to say "Thank you!" my secret angel.
Greetings from Georgia, USA.
I love to trade books. Most books on my available list are available for international
trade. I must stagger my post office trips so it may take a week or two to get them mailed out. I mail by the cheapest method, usually Media mail in the US and ground internationally.
I enjoy a wide range of genres (fiction and non-fiction), in no particular order: classics, fantasy, world history, ancient and prehistoric peoples, mythology, history, children and parenting, environmental concerns, globalization, philosophy, crafts, cooking,
gardening, education, travel, science in all of its various branches, German language, Native Peoples, camping and hiking, earth-centered religion. I also homeschool my children and am always looking to add to their libraries as well.
I don't keep a list of books read, I'm just not nearly so organized! *laugh* Some of my favorite books are: "Radetsky March" by Joseph Roth, "Brave New World" by Aldous Huxley, "Ishmael" by Daniel Quinn, "Oryx and Crake" by Margaret Atwood, "Tales of a Shaman's
Apprentice" by Mark J. Plotkin, and "The Earth Path" Starhawk.
