I read about BookCrossin on the British Midland airline magazine on a trip in Europe. I thought it was a great idea because for years I have been discarding paperbacks as I finish them on my travels. I wish I had known about BC earlier.

I am an avid reader, averaging sometimes as many as 2 or 3 books a week. I am also a collector of first editions so I don't usually keep paperbacks. I have a website with a book page. I am also an Anglophile and particularly interested in "between-the-wars" books, fiction as well as non-fiction. Other favourites are Jane Austen, E. M. Forster, Anthony Trollope and Virginia Woolf.

That said, I have released 8 books so far and am a little discouraged that no one has reported finding any of them. I did, however, get one email requesting one of the books so think maybe I should just put them on my bookshelf and send them to anyone who is interested.
