I love reading, I adore books, and I think that BookCrossing is the coolest idea I've heard in a long time. I'm a little wary of parting with my books, but the reality of groaning bookshelves makes me considerably more amenable to the idea. As does the
thought of furtively releasing my favorite books to share with unsuspecting readers ... wouldn't the world be a happier place if everyone realized the pleasure of good books? Besides reading, I enjoy traveling and scuba diving with my husband, my writing and
editing (anyone need a freelancer?), my dogs and rabbit, spinning (in a gym, not with yarn), yoga, and trying to knit (I'm learning!). I'm also vegan, a budding Buddhist, and a great stepmom and aunt, if I do say so myself. That's me, in a (generous) nutshell!
Currently reading:
- Messages From the Masters, by Brian Weiss, M.D.
- Will the Circle Be Unbroken? (Reflections on Death, Rebirth, and Hunger for Faith), by Studs Terkel
- The Black Room at Longwood: Napoleon’s Exile on Saint Helena, by Jean-Paul Kauffmann
