Extended Profile
I have vivid childhood memories of reading wonderful books and being totally absorbed in whatever I was reading. Christmas school holidays provided seemingly endless days with hours on end to enjoy a book, indoors, outdoors, in the day or at night. Adulthood
hasn't provided the same opportunities for whiling away long days reading good books but fortunately it has enabled me to enjoy a wonderful variety of books all the same.
I like the connection Bookcrossing lets me have with other book lovers and the opportunities it provides for sharing books with others, anywhere, anytime and anyplace.
I enjoy crime fiction, contemporary and historical Russian subjects, quirky detective stories, true stories, non-fiction and lots more.
The beautiful Lighthouses of Australia books given to me by Davros-10 are my most favourite in my permanent collection.
