Permanent Collection

I do lend out my PC books, but please take into account the following points before you PM me your request.

* They will only be lent to Bookcrossers that I've had previous contact with
* Non-smokers (sorry if this upsets some of you)
* Must be journalled as soon as they arrive
* Must be returned to me in the same condition it was received
* Must be journalled as soon as it goes back in the post to me

These rules are only for my PC books. I apologise now if they seem strict, but I am really fond of these books.
If you can cope with the rules look at my bookshelf and PM me



Garden-King OBCZ

There’s an OBCZ at the local garden centre Garden King which is on Park Road (B5353) in Newhall. They've got very friendly, knowledgeable staff and are pro-Bookcrossing. In fact, the manager is a Bookcrosser too. Why not go and take a look? Be warned though – the bookshelf does move around!!!

Birthday Buddy

My birthday buddy is queenfrog and celebrates it on 7th August.
Queenfrog shares her birthday with Billie Burke who played Glinda the Good Witch in The Wizard of Oz.

Local Bookcrossing Meet-Ups

The very first BC Meet-Up for the Burton/Swadlincote/Ashby area happened on Saturday 7th June. It was very well attended and the weather stayed pleasant, so we sat outside and watched the world go by.
