Firstly, a big thank you to Pu Tlang Rokhuma for the above profile picture sourced from Pu Tlang Rokhuma - I just love his artwork.

Secondly, a little bit about me. Well I'm an avid reader of fiction especially "foreign" writers. By this I mean non-English writers, writing in or translated into English but I pretty much read anything although I'm NOT particularly fond of Sci-Fi/Fantasy, Romance or Chick-Lit.

On the personal front, I've travelled well and experienced things that I never dreamed I would. I lived in a remote part of north east India (Mizoram) for 8 years (hence my love of Mizo art) and this changed my whole concept of life, love, the universe and everything. I'm lucky to be alive having survived an illness that should have finished me off! How my priorities changed.

I'm a full time working mum with two lovely grown-up young adults (20 & 19) and a wonderful Mizo husband who loves books as well. We have completely different tastes although occasionally we find mutual ground.

I have other interests outside books including MotoGP/motorbikes (of which I am equally passionate although some would say obsessed about), gardening (we have an allotment for all our vegetable needs), cooking and music. I play the piano and flute.

I am currently studying for an Open University Honours Degree in International Studies. Working full time plus the study, plus home-life will mean my Bookcrossing time will have to be drastically cut but I can't do everything! I hope you all understand.
