Recent Book Activity

*** Please note: although the shelf is still very active and topped up regularly, we're no longer keeping a record of what's on the shelf. Everything is being marked as travelling to prevent people thinking a book is on the shelf and going there to find it's not! If you would like us to check if the book is still there, please send a private message.

Hudson's Coffee House, Colmore Row, Birmingham is an OBCZ in Central Birmingham. We also hold the monthly Birmingham BookCrossing meetups at Hudsons.

The shelf of books is in the back section of the coffee house, in the tall shelves to the left. We have caught all the books currently there onto the bookshelf - if you take a book from the shelf, please make a journal entry as soon as you can so we can track its progress. If you add a book to the bookshelf, please make sure it is registered and labelled and we will catch it onto the shelf when we know it's there.

The Birmingham BookCrossing meetup group meets at Hudson's on the fourth Saturday of each month. The meetups start at 2pm and we sit in the back section - ask any member of staff or look for the piles of books on the tables! If you are planning on coming along to your first meetup, please PM Hudsons-Bham or LyzzyBee to find out more! We can also arrange for you to come along a little early, to meet a few people first before everyone else arrives. Or we can pair you up with a buddy who you can get to know via email before the day itself.

We also have a Yahoo Group for BookCrossers in the Birmingham area. Join the group and you can chat with other BookCrossers, get hints and tips and share any ideas you have - new members always very welcome!
