I learned about this site a friend who caught a wild release and knew I might be interested.
I had always given away books or left them out for people to find (and hopefully read). I would leave the books in a motel room or on a plane or in an airport. So I was excited about the chance to see where the books go (and still am).
Since joining I have done wild releases (28 so far with 2 caught), trades, bookrelays, and bookrings. I like all of them! I love to trade so if you see an available book and have one to trade please PM me. I am also on http://bookrelay.com so check it out!

As you can see from the few books I have logged, I like both fiction and non-fiction books. I especially enjoy historical fiction or non-fiction history books. I enjoy books with themes about strong women or women in interesting situations. I am open to read anything well-written with an interesting or different theme.
I have a wide variety of interests which I think are reflected in what I like to read.
I am an avid movie fan, and go to the movies with my husband about twice a week. We are lucky enough to live in Scottsdale that has a wide selection of art films to see so we see a lot of independent and foreign films.
During college football season, I enjoy watching almost any college football game. We especially follow mine and my husband’s alma maters (Virginia Tech Hokies and Penn State Nittany Lions respectively).
Traveling is another past time. We have been to -- and even lived in -- many places including about 1 ½ years in Reading, England. That was fun since we were able to travel around Europe for work and during our copious vacation. We haven’t been able to travel very far lately, but I consider some of my reading research for the next big trip.
I also practice martial arts (karate for about 9 years).
