I am originally from the Wikwemikong First Nations Reserve on Manitoulin Island, Ontario, Canada. I am a mother of four, the youngest is seven, he loves to read also.
I'm am currently training as a Literacy Educator through distance Ed. Literacy education is new in our Community so we do not have very much resources. For now, our students are mostly adults but in the future I would like to go into Family Literacy.
The Subjects that I find interesting are Self-Help Books, New Age, Anything that has to do with learning about one's self. Recovering from Abuse is another topic that I am interested in (child, sexual, physical, emotional and spousal).
My favorite author's are Rosemary Altea, Greg Braden, Maryanne Williamson. For entertainment, I like to read Steven King Books. I am also interesting in learning about the Anishnawbe People and their history and traditions.
