My name is Willy and I am, as you guessed, a keen winelover. I have a boutique and cleanskin wine shop called Farm Gate Wines, in Croydon, VIC, Aust.
Farm Gate Wines has its registered Private Collection of wine associated books as well as recent copies of Winestate, Gourmet Traveller Wine and Australian Wine Selector available for reading on-site.
Feel free to come in, taste some wine and relax while you peruse my book and magazine collection.
My favourite wines are Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir and Shiraz from cool climate regions. Living near the Yarra Valley suits my tastebuds to a T!
Apart from wine I also love beer, especially the crisp, dry stuff like Carlton Cold or Tooheys Extra Dry and boutique beers such as Mountain Goat, Grand Ridge and Bearings.
My love for things that satisfy the senses extends from taste to hearing. I am a lover of a wide variety of music including dance, country, rock, metal, 50s rock and roll, 40s and 50s jazz and even the odd r+b and rap. My favourite artists include Garbage, Magic Dirt, Kasey Chambers, Troy Cassar-Daley, Sheryl Crow, Jewel, Eve and Julie London. So, as you see, you can not put my music taste in a box.
