Recent Book Activity

A post-doc recently moved to Royal Oak from Nottingham UK. The hardest part of moving? Deciding which of my books to leave behind and which to take. I wish I'd known about bookcrossing sooner!

Reading has been a passion for as long as I can remember. My mother reports that while other kids would carry around a teddy bear, or a blankie, I'd have a book with me as a security blanket. (Apparently I went through 3 copies of 'shopping with mother'.)

I'll read anything and everything, from theology, to SF, mystery novels, classic fiction, modern fiction, autobiographies, psychology, chick-lit ... you name it, it's probably on my shelves, or has been at some point.

Favourite authors include Laurie R King, Jane Austen, Andrew Vachss, Hal and Sidra Stone, Katherine V. Forrest and Anne McCaffrey.
