Recent Book Activity

In my youth I was an avid reader. I was a member of my local library before I started school and have fond memories of Meg and Mog, Asterix and Dr Who novels (I was such a geek!!) I wonder what happened to the giant draughts they used to have outside.

I never seem to find enough time for reading these days. When I do, it's mostly snuggled up in bed with something cheap and trashy....or a book :o)

I'm open to reading most things and will finish anything I start but, my fav authors are Janet Evanovich, Margaret Atwood, Ian Rankin and sometimes Patricia Cornwall but her last few books have been too depressing for words so she's a bit of out favour these days....please could something nice happen to one of her characters for a change!

The cat has pretensions, likes to buy cheap classics and books of worth, read a chapter or too then sneak them onto the books shelves inbetween the police procedurals and cookery books and pretend she finished them. What a scamp!

Books are listed here mainly because I don't think I will read them again and the plan is to wild release them eventually but, available status books are available for swaps, trades, rings/rays etc.
