Extended Profile
I love losing myself in a good book. I'm a history buff, reading mostly about Ancient Egypt, Ancient Rome and the Russian Front of World War II. I used to re-enactment the Revolutionary War as a trooper with Sheldon's Horse - the Second Continental Light
Dragoons. On the fiction front, I've been reading espionage, particularly Alan Furst and Eric Ambler, for the past couple of years along with any other historical novels I can get my hands on. I read during my daily commute to Manhattan. I'm a copy editor
with the Reuters news agency in its new building amid the "Blade Runner"-like neon and glitz of Times Square. Writing of sci-fi, Philip K. Dick is one of my favorite authors. I write stories and poetry, mostly horror, on the side, time permitting. And I've
never met a cup of coffee I didn't like.
