Hi, I settled in Noosa in South East Queensland about 15 years ago - lovely part of Australia with incredible beaches, pristine National Park, sparkling river system and really interesting local population. Noosa is a resort town with an increasing number of visitors staying for ever and becoming local residents. We have fabulous cafes, restaurants and a blossoming interest in the arts.

I have been happily selling homes to those who have decided Noosa is for them and am constantly overwhelmed by the range of interesting individuals who are willing to give up their huge salaries and step out of the rat race to enjoy the fabulous lifestyle on offer here. I guess the advent of easy computer access has made it easier but still...

I have been an avid reader throughout my life - I remember snuggling in the corner of my local library in Hampstead in London UK reading about Peter & Jane and Spot the dog. What a wonderful interest my parents encouraged. I have never been lonely, never bored, and have journeyed to all corners of the world without leaving my armchair - although I have fortunately been able to visit many of the places I have read about and experienced some of the scents and colours only hinted at in the many books I have read.
