Extended Profile
Hi There!
Since I last updated my profile many exciting things have happened in my life!
Most of you know by now that MorningStar and I got engaged last year. He elegantly proposed to me on April 23rd,2005 at the first annual WordStock here in Portland. It was a huge fundraising event for our school system that featured lots of local authors, books galore and special guest authors like Sarah Vowell reading chapters from their latest books. It was truly a magical weekend and definately the perfect setting to propose to me!
If you would like to hear MorningStar's side of this glorious moment in our lives, please go to his bookshelf and read his journal entry for Salmon Nation. It melted my heart all over again!!

Woo Hoo! We did it!!!! My sweet MorningStar and I exchanged wedding vows on Saturday, May 6th,2006:) It was a truly beautiful day here in the Pacific Northwest. Perfect weather, cloudy and cool. Yay!!!

I'm lucky enough to be the daughter of an Anglican Priest. So guess who married us? My wonderful Dad! It was a beautiful, moving and unique ceremony with plenty of personal touches.
We had a huge Celtic themed wedding, complete with the Groom and Groomsmen wearing their family tartans. Yes, I do mean kilts!!
Everyone in our wedding party looked absolutely smashing. My bridesmaids were elegant visions in hunter green. They were a nice foil
for the riot of tartans!

I When I finally saw my darling MorningStar,
he looked so handsome in his Prince Charlie Jacket, family kilt and sporran that my heart stopped for a minute. Let me tell you I am one lucky woman;)
I looked and felt radiant, serene and extremely happy to be joining my life with one of my very best friends. I was on cloud 9 the entire day.
We had a fantastic ceremony and reception.
We escape to Honolulu, Hawaii for a much needed honeymoon.
Sorry I can't share all of the fun details but, I will say that I did get a very nice tan and we had an incredible time!

We have been happily married for 18 months now. It is truly wonderful to be Mrs MorningStar. I feel very blessed and lucky to have him by my side no matter what comes our way. Our love continues to grow even stronger with each day that passes.

We are very blessed to finally have our very own little bookcrosser!
Our beautiful daughter,Erin Siobhan was born on June 29th of this year!!! She is a very sweet and wonderful baby. I'm currently a stay
at home mommy. I'm loving every minute of it!!!
Morning-Star is a fabulous daddy. He and I are truly living a happy life. We have a wonderful little family that I am very proud of .

Dangerbaby has already joined me on a few releases around town;) Have baby, will bookcross!!! We continue to have fun bookcrossing. I hope you will too.

I highly recommend trying the following when releasing:
1)Take a friend/your sweetie. They can share in the thrill of being stealthy for a good cause! Bonus if they can distact security guards, librarians, bus drivers, etc. However, it's just as much fun to do this on your own!
2)Pick an area of town you are familiar with.
3)Pick an area of town you are not familiar with and have an adventure.
4)Pretend to be a spy in a foreign country on a mission.
5)Have fun!!!!
