Dacorum First Credit Union is a Savings and Loans Co-operative, owned and run by its' members, and serves anyone who lives or works in the Borough of Dacorum, Hertfordshire, England. We aim to help members save regularly, and give loans at low interest rates of 1% per month on the reducing balance.

We love the idea of BookCrossing and have set up an Official BookCrossing Zone at our main office: 1a Leys Road, Bennetts End, HEMEL HEMPSTEAD, Herts. HP3 9TZ. Telephone 01442 400232.

We are sure that this will be a welcome added benefit to all our members, and to the wider community.

Those hunting for books will find our office situated on the front of the Community Centre, adjacent to the pedestrian crossing from Bennetts Gate Shops, and next door to the Green Acres Public House. We are open at the following times:
Monday 7pm to 8pm
Tuesday 2pm to 4pm
Friday 12noon to 1.30pm
Saturday 9am to 10.30am
(3/7/2004 We have so many books that they have overflowed into the main Community Centre! There is a bookshelf just inside the main, door on the left, it's full of books which are checked regularly so most of them should be registered to BookCrossing. If you find one that is not registered, please feel free to do so.)
