Just Me, Myself and I

If somebody asked me a few years ago what am I reading I would told him, without any doubts, that I adore Russian writers (such as Dostoyevsky, Tolstoy, Chekhov?etc). Beside this I have been reading a Serbian literature (which is very rich and has one Nobel Prize winner ? Ivo Andric and so many great writers whose works deserve to be read). Sudenly, I discovered "Baltasar and Blimunda" by Jose Saramago, which had a direct influence on me (that book is one of the most original, especially that long sentences without of end and full stops) and completely moved my field of interest. And after that I have been reading Salman Rushdie, J. Gaardar, J.M. Coetzee, etc. But I do not read romance and SF books. I like poetry too because she is connected with my other love ? GUITAR. Namely I am playing this instrument for so long and I like classical guitar (on which I play only for my soul), but I play an acoustic guitar too (because that kind of music was connecting me with my friends). So, I like classical music (Beethoven, Mozart, Rachmaninoff, etc.), I like Paco de Lucia, Rodrig, etc., and Ramones, REM, Tracy Chapman, Yma Sumac, Billy Idol, etc. My favourite painter is Vincent Van Gogh (and he said: if you do not read or study you are lost, for good).

Somebody said that the books are our best friend, but this site shows that the books can be a connection between people, and that can connect people from all over the world, but also the literature from the different parts of our planet. And these are the reasons why I've jumped on this train.
