I live in Austin TX and I love just about any kind of book. Any book that teaches me something or makes me think is worthwhile, even if what I thought was, "I hate this book!" That hardly ever happens though.
I mostly read nonfiction, until lately, that is. I like science and history and biographies the most.
One of my all time favorite non fiction books was the autobiography of Nelson Mandela. In science my current favorites are about how the mind works. Anything about birds or insects will get my attention as well. Some of my favorite fiction books are The Good Earth, The Name of the Rose, and The Catcher in the Rye. Life of Pi blew me away too.
