About TRADES and RABCKS:
I love to trade, so if you see something on my AVL shelf that you'd like, feel free to pm me. I'm most likely to trade for books on my wishlist, but I do consider other offers too. (The types of books I like are listed further down on my profile.) Please don't ask me to send you a book without offering a trade. (Unless you live near me, and are willing to come and pick up the book from me.) I do my RABCKs in random fashion.

About me and my BookCrossing philosophy:
I'm a student at the University of Helsinki, and I'm currently doing my master's degree in computer science. I'm often busy, and I might sometimes forget to answer PM's if you caught me at a bad time. I always try to fulfill my bookcrossing commitments, and if I've forgotten something please do remind me.

I'm an avid reader, and I find new books to read all the time. This means that my Mt.TBR is always toppling over, and that books can linger unread for years. I've been trying to cut back on book buying, but I haven't managed to significantly reduce the amount of TBR-books yet.

I register both books in my permanent collection, and those I intend to release. I register books before I read them, in order to keep track of what I have, and my philosophy is that even though I want to keep a book in my PC for now, I might feel differently in 5 years time. If you receive a book from me, feel free to add it to your personal collection, unless we specifically agreed otherwise.

The types of books I love to read are: nonfiction books about feminism, human rights, anti-racism, anti-oppression in general, music books (both biographies and fiction), books from around the world and by people of color (see challenges higher up on my profile), chick lit, YA/teen fiction, graphic novels, vampire/werewolf books, books about paganism, basically anything that sounds interesting. My wish list gives you some idea! :)

I always try to read books in the language the were written, if that's possible. 95% of the books I read are in English, but I also read books in Finnish, Swedish, German, Spanish and French. I hope that I'll have a chance to read more foreign language books through bookcrossing.

How I Rate My Books

10* Excellent. This book has impacted me deeply and belongs to my Crown Jewels.
9* Great book - just a nitpick stands between it and a 10.
8* Good, solid book that I would recommend to kindred spirits.
7* Good book, with something I like and something I dislike.
6* The book is OK, but just not my cup of tea.
5-4* I did not appreciate much. Maybe somebody else would like this.
3-2* In my opinion, a disaster.
1* A general disaster.
