Am thrilled to find this site!!! What a PHENOMENAL idea! Bolsters my faith in humanity!

Bibliophile from way back. Main interests are basically Nonfiction: biographies, history, women's issues, child advocate issues. Fiction: Particularly love English mysteries by Elizabeth George, Dorothy L. Sayers, Ruth Rendell, and A.Christie of course! Also the "Jeeves & Wooster" P.G. Woodhouse series for fun. Don't like "bodice rippers" but will read a well-written love story (if my own love life is going well.) LOL!

I noticed that NO ONE from my city is on the list, which doesn't surprise me. :{ We don't even have a bookstore in this town and our library is a big beautiful building with lots of half-full, or empty, shelves. A sad, sad, commentary IMHO.
