I am a divorced mom to 2 boys, and our house is full of books! I might register and release the children's books one day, but for now we are still getting mileage out of them! My oldest son has cerebral palsy and it's hard to keep him still for stories at times- but he HAS learned to read! My youngest can sit with books much longer, and is well on his way with reading. Neither one has tried to attack my surplus of BookCrossing books yet though! I am a former nurse and paramedic, and currently I am helping one of the area nursing schools with Pharmacology. I am also promoting health and fitness as an Independent Beachbody Coach. If you've heard of the home workout programs such as P90X, Power90, Turbo Jam, Slim in 6, Hip Hop Abs... well that's Beachbody. And those programs ROCK! I've lost about 20 lbs and 4 sizes (thankfully I didn't have a lot to lose, but had I needed to, I know I could've done that too- because MANY people have!)! So if you feel like you need a boost in your fitness level, feel free to contact me or browse through my homepage. :-)

DECIDE TO GET FIT TODAY!

I also love to letterbox and geocache- which is one of the reasons I find bookcrossing so interesting! It's a combination of letterboxing with the love of reading. Other things I love to do are rubber stamping (and making my handmade cards- bunnybee.net), cross-stitching, crocheting, gardening and surfing the internet. I'm also HOOKED on doing Sudoku puzzles!! What a world it is out there for exploring, both in person as well as virtually!

It's hard to say what kinds of books I like the most- I tend to try reading a bit of everything. I think you can tell from my reading list and the bookrays/rings that I've signed up for- that I'm willing to give just about anything new (to me) a try! But I do find mystery thrillers and romance novels the fastest reads. I also read many parenting and self-improvement type books. Life is such a journey- might as well learn from it!

Thank You to:
gategrl for my latest book trade of Memory Keeper's Daughter for Metamorphoses
karen-r for buying some handmade cards from me! My first IRL meeting with a fellow BCer, too!

Actual wild releases caught/journaled: 8 -with FOUR new BC sign-ups instead of just AF's!
Wild releases found by me: 3 -one was in a geocache!

Man, I love this place!!!!!!!! I've been having a BLAST since joining BookCrossing!

If you see something in my bookshelf you want, please PM me- maybe we can work a trade. I don't give out free books except as a RABCK on my part or as a wild release. IMO, a RABCK isn't technically a RABCK anymore if someone asks for it. Thanks! I do search random wish lists often for possible RABCK opportunities. If you see something you like that I have marked as TBR, feel free to PM me and I can move it up, although everything takes second place to bookray/ring books.
