I took the above photo of my grandchildren when my granddaughter was just a few days old in January 2010. They are proud and loving big brothers to their new little sister.

I am a retired medical office manager and worked in my husband's office in Oxnard, California. We retired in 1991. I love people and the hilarity of interaction with all kinds of people in my circle of friends. My husband and I enjoy traveling
the world; in fact I caught my first BC book in a hotel in Venice, Italy in November 2004, before I knew anything about BC. Two children, three grandsons, and a step-family are part of my world.
My first releases were in Europe the summer of 2005, and I plan to leave more on subsequent trips. It will be fun to follow them around the world (I hope!) I read to relax, and enjoy mystery, suspense and romance.
I'm a Red Hat Queen Mum in the Scarlette Dudettes in Prescott, Arizona, bowl in a league once a week, and love to play cards and table games. I'm also in two Bunco groups, play Canasta once a month, and my husband and I are in a couples' card group that has
been getting together once a month for more than thirteen years. As you can see, I am enjoying retirement!
My first caught book was one I left in The Swiss House Cafe in Lucerne, Switzerland in June of 2005. It was fun to find out who picked it up and where she left it (on a train in Switzerland) and last I heard, it had traveled to Lincolnshire, England.
Please note that my bookshelf does not truly reflect my taste in books. I have friends who give me books, and I register them to hold for a suitable challenge.
The map below represents in red the countries I have visited, and our website (above) has photos and commentary with music for many of our trips.
