Recent Book Activity

I was never a reader when I was younger, but I am now! I still get intimidated by book over 350 pages! But I am learning that a longer book means you get to be with the characters longer and that makes it harder to say good bye to them.. I am a sucker for a happy ending, but I'll manage with a sad one as long as I learn something in the process!

You may notice that many of the book on my shelf are "Trash Rescues" These books have been taken from the dumpster of a store called: "Half Price Books" This store throws away thousands of books a week. If you have one of these stores, or any second hand book stores in your area, I strongly urge you to check their dumpster. Many perfectly good books are discarded and it is outrageously wrong!
