Recent Book Activity

Well. let's see what makes me an individual... I raise dogs- retrievers- and compete with them in conformation, obedience, field events and agilty. We also visit nursing homes and hospitals. Last year I made the decision to adopt a young boy from Kazakhstan as I have always wanted children but at this stage of my life was not willing to give up career (nor sleep) to have one of my own. I adopted a now 8 year old boy and plan to add a 10 year old to the family sometime during 2003. I work in the education field- spent 13 years in the classroom and now am at the district level. I work under a grant from the US Dept of Education in the area of Drug and Violence Prevention at the middle school level.

My favorite authors are Grisham, Deevers, Turow and Rowlings. I know it sounds like an interesting mix but when you think of the intracasies of the books they write, they really hold my attention. In another life I would have loved to have been in the area of law or forensics.
