Starting from 23 November 2015 during Book Week Scotland 2015 at Summerhall, Edinburgh, ASCUS Art & Science will be offering a Book Swap Library. The principle is simple: give one, take one! There is no price or hierarchy in the books; all books are considered equal! Or if you are a book crosser, you can label your book with its unique BookCrossing ID at home and release it in our Book Swap Library.

Every book comes with a story: where did you get it from? Did you like it? Why are you passing it on? You can leave a personal note in the books for future readers if you want, to give each book an identity and allow it to come with a story in addition to the story told in its pages.

The event is organized by ASCUS Art & Science (www.ascus.org.uk) and the Artiscience Library in Summerhall, Edinburgh (www.ascus.org.uk/artiscience-library/), so there will be books on arts and science but also books of all kinds, including books written in English, French, Spanish and other languages.
