Recent Book Activity

This is a shelf to record books donated by members of the BCUK Yahoo group. All of the books shown here will be released in the wild, all across Britain, on the 18th April in support of Book Aid's Authors' Association launch. For more information see BC News Article

Rather than use my limited html skills to duplicate the excellent Book Aid International web site I've provided a series of links below that will take you directly to the source of the information. The only things I've specifically included here are some marvellous pictures that I think show the true worth of donating books or money to BookAid. When did you last see a group of children so enthusiastic about the visit of a library, or indeed a camel-carried mobile library? Scroll to the bottom of this page for the pictures, and if you click on one it will take you to the full size version, which is much better quality.
