Extended Profile
I have loved to read since I learned how but don't get enough pleasure reading time anymore as I spend too much time reading for my job-and working in my job! I also cross stitch, knit and crochet so have to divide my free time among reading, needlecrafts
and my 1 month old granddaughter, besides my job!
This sounds like a great opportunity to connect with other book lovers (I have more books I have not read than books I have) and hopefully it will help me re-prioritize my time into reading for pleasure instead of working so much. I do listen to books on my work commute but that is not nearly as good as reading them for myself!
I am fond of almost anything written but fiction is my favorite-I majored in English in college and taught high school English for several years. My favorite authors are Hemingway and Michener.
