I didn't make it to the convention in Amsterdam afterall, although I'm kind of glad I didn't make arrangements to go, what with the volcanic ash palaver! I do feel I missed out on a lovely weekend though, so I'll certainly be doing my best to go to the un-con in Swindon later on this year, and possibly even BC in DC next year...

Come to the BC in DC 2011 Convention!



I had a great time at the London convention back in 2008. It was brilliant to meet so many bookcrossers from *17* different countries. Everybody was so friendly, and it was especially good to get to know people a little better. Just a few faces it was lovely to see again over the weekend - Katisha50, ReetPetite, Veganbob, Molyneux, Netstation, Lyzzybee, Weebly, Beckydore, Heaven-ali, WistfulDragon.... And lovely to meet the following for the first time - Suedo, AnglersRest, Craftyangler, GingerGeoff, Wyando, Cassiopaeia, Katie1980, Gazza1980, the lovely group of girls from Spain, and sooooo many more! I was sad to go back to my normal life after being in the Bookcrossing bubble, but roll on the next convention or Un-Con!
