Welcome to my bookcrossing profile!

At the moment I'm interested in reading books especially in French.

En ce moment les livres en français m'intéresseraient plus. Les livres de Daniel Pennac sont tels que j'ai voulu lire déjà pendant longtemps.

My favorite books and authors are mainly somehow tied either to Tibet or to American Indians. In addition, I'm quite interested in the thoughts of Malcolm Gladwell among others. One more name to mention is Indonesian author Pramoedya Ananta Toer. Anything that is different from main stream caughts my curiosity pretty easily.

The exemples of lighter books that I enjoy reading are The cat who series, Dortmuder adventures by Donald Westlake and anything by Alexander McCall Smith - but Mme Ramotswe books I've already read :)

I reached my milestone of 300 registered books on 27th Sep, 2008. 400 registered books on 5th May, 2009. 500 registered books on 24th Feb, 2010. 600 registered books on 29th May, 2012.
The figure of 200 wild released books appeared on 3rd Oct, 2008. 300 wild released on 12 June, 2010. 400 wild released on August 26, 2011. 500 wild released on 7th June, 2012.
Total number of books in my bookshelf is bigger due to my earlier activity in bookrings and -rays.

Hyllyssä olevien kirjojen yhteenlaskettu määrä on kohonnut mukavan suureksi aiemman rinki- ja sädeaktiivisuuden ansiosta.
