Extended Profile
Hello!
I live in Monroe, LA (USA). I'm 30 years old, and enjoy a lot of different activities. Movies, role-playing, computer games, musicals, opera, plays, dog training....
I'm also a pretty eclectic reader - I enjoy romance, true crime, fantasy, and a bit of sci-fi, though not so much on that. At any rate, I love the idea of book crossing. I can't wait to make some releases!
I've decided to register all the books I own, not just the ones I plan to release. Books which are part of my personal collection will be followed by (PC) to denote this *. My personal collection will NOT be released, loaned, or traded. I've had too many bad experiences with loaning books/DVD's/whatnot and either not getting it back at all or when I finally do get it back it's been put through the wringer. Soooo...I plan to add a few books at a time until I get my entire collection added. For reviews I'll probably add official reviews, just because it helps on typing (oowww...my poor hands) and also they hit more of the salient points, but I will add my own comments.
* Thanks to Mojosmom for the idea :-)

Well, I'm releasing my first book later this evening. Hopefully it'll get captured, though I'm not going to hold my breath. The catch rate seems to be about 15%. I'm planning on leaving it in the Wal-mart entrance foyer on a bench. I called the manager and he said that's fine, so hopefully my book will be setting off on a grand adventure :-)
