Recent Book Activity

For now I'll forego the personal & individualized information. I simply don't know what to write beyond the fact that reading has been and will always be an important part of my life.

Some of my fondest early memories are visits to the library, loaded with as many books as I could carry, and spelling out my name to the librarian. I have a long name, and she was a sweet elderly woman who always misspelled it. I was 3 years old and already consuming books like candy. I still love getting lost in a library or book store. And I love to share that experience with my family and my friends. My parents took me to the local library every chance they got, now I take them to my favorite bookstores every chance I have. Funny how books and reading transcend time & space. Just like music. Reading is a universal experience and the ability to share books makes it all the more special.
