Extended Profile
A Friend's House is a residential facility in Bluffton, IN that provides a safe place for young women to live as they learn to overcome sexual or physical abuse, drug or alcohol addictions, unplanned pregnancies, self-harm issues, eating disorders, and other life-controlling issues. AFH Ministries is dedicated to encouraging families to understand the past, live in the present, and prepare for the future in a healthy, positive manner and from a Biblical worldview.
One thing we would like to start doing is building the book collection we have available to our residents. This enables them to study relevant books at their leisure, furthering the impact of our program. We hope that, through our membership here at www.bookcrossing.com, some thoughtful bookcrossers might want to release books from our wishlist and send them our direction! You have no idea how much impact one helpful book can have on the life of one of our residents.
