I am a teacher studying to be a teacher librarian. I am currently teaching Year 5 in a country town in Australia. I run a reading group of 12 people who love to read, and we have a lot of fun. We have a great group, and I as leader have two bells which are regularly used to keep control of the meeting. Everyone is so enthusiastic. This year we have read "The Drowner" by Robert Drewe, "The Toucher" by Dorothy Hewett, "A Foreign Wife" by Gillian Bouras and "The Pillow Fight" by Matthew Condon. We are having a very good year, as all these books have been popular with members.

I am enjoying my study, and came into contact with Book Crossing through the listserv called OZTL_NET, which caters for teacher librarians in Australia.
