I have been a book nerd ever since my mum taught me how to read
at the tender age of 5. I adore heaps and heaps of genres
but two of my faves are the beat writers (Kerouac etc)and the transcendentalists (Thoreau etc).

In a recent wonderful RABCK, katiesmama from Cape Coral Florida sent me a copy of The Hungry Ocean: A Swordboat Captain's Journey by Linda Greenlaw. This RABCK had its origins in the Bookcrossing forums. I had asked for peoples favourite nautical themed books and was inundated by so many replies and another RABCK from foxed in Belfast(Attention all Shipping)that I found myself having to make a huge list to keep track of all the titles. One of the replies contained a link to Bookmarks magazines101 Crackerjack Sea Books edition katiesmama thoughfully included a copy of the magazine in the RABCK as well.
