Enjoyable little fantasy that would suit teenage children and adults alike.

Enjoy!
Thanks so much for this little gem which I have been meaning to read for ages (as I love the film !)
What a marvellous little gem ! Wonderful characters and a beautifully woven story. I am always cautious about books being turned into films but can honesty say the film does do the book justice ! Taking this book over to Germany next week to pass on to a bookcrossing friend. The Leeds Owl will also travel with me :o)

Ok, this cannot be a coincidence - I am meant to read this book. ;o)
Some time ago a friend told me about this wonderful movie (which I haven't seen yet) and today kinedi gave me this book as a surprise. I'm looking forward to reading it.

I absolutely love this book!
It feels like an easy read but it leaves something behind that stays with you. A longing for Faerie maybe? ;o)

I'm sorry for posting the last je in German, I wasn't thinking.
Actually I planned to take the book to the BC Convention in Oxford last April - but I forgot it.
Therefore the two of us will travel to Shrewsbury tomorrow. I do not want to release it into the wild, though.

The book was given to a dear friend, who likes Neil Gaiman but does not know this book yet. Lucky, lucky me!
I hope she enjoys it as much as I did.
