Emotionally Weird

This book is in a Controlled Release!
3 journalers for this copy...
I was really looking forward to this Kate Atkinson book, having previously read several other of her novels. However, I was disappointed in the storyline and couldn't get on with the narrative at all. It is described as "a truly comic novel - achingly funny in parts(...)" but I'm afraid it didn't tickle my taste buds. Passing it on now and hope someone else will appreciate it more than me...

This book arrived when I was on holiday so I apologise for the delay in recording it.
Thank you for your generosity. I too have read a few of Kate's novels so it will be interesting to find out if I find it amusing or not.
Thanks again Chremajora for granting my wish :)
ETA Made it to top (ish) on my TBR. Reserved for I shrinking book box

Journal Entry 4 by Diane-Fraser at Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear United Kingdom on Saturday, November 30, 2013
It does read strange. I sometimes have difficulty with Kate Atkinson having 3 or 4 story lines going at the same time. As usual it all came together in the end :)

Welcome to Bookcrossing!
You have found a travelling book. Why not join in the fun? Read, release and pass on but don't forget to write a Journal Entry telling us where you found the book, if you read it what you thought about it and where you are going to leave it. If you join bookcrossing before you do the entry you will get an alert when the next person writes up about it and can track its travels. If you prefer to just leave an Anonymous Journal Entry, it will brighten up my day either way. Oh and if you like the book sooooo much you just don't want to let it go that is fine too, maybe one day eh :)
Enjoy!!
Fits in nicely with the What's in A Name challenge! EmotionALLY and Never Judge a Book by It's Cover - Week 48 Dogs

Very ...weird.
A stylistic essay.
Very funny in parts, that's true. But only in parts.

On its way to Florida.
Bad news from HI77: "the package was opened at the top. (and it looked like out had between torn open by human hands and not just damaged) "
