I love this book, it is one of my favourites, so I was delighted to find it on the wishlist of my exchange partner for the Hallowe'en book & treat exchange 2011. Seemed like the ideal gift!

Yeah!!!! It is so great to receive a wishlist book, thanks a lot!I also loved all the treats you put in the package, especially the bookmark (very original) and the candle cup. Thanks again, Chremajora :-)
This was a great read! Daphne Du Maurier is very good with descriptions and you really can feel the damp weather of the English coast, see the rooms and gardens at Manderley or get a chill down your spine in the presence of Mrs. Danvers. I confess I didn’t like the new Mrs. De Winter at first, quite preferred Rebecca, but as the story unfolded, my opinion changed. I think this is a kind of coming of age novel, a tale of innocence lost, but even if life plays a few tricks on you, it is still possible to be happy in a different way.
This book is travelling to vcrazygirl´s house, as part of a RABCK. Happy readings :-)
