Noticed this book in Waterstones and almost bought it. I then found it in a bookshop for just £2 and have added it to mount TBR.
Well, it's taken me almost 2 years to get round to reading this book, so thanks pam99 for putting it on your wishlist =)
This has never jumped out from Mount TBR when I have been choosing which book to read next, but I am glad I read it. The subject matter is not really something I have read about before in fiction, but the writing style and the characters, particularly the two main ones, made this book really intriguing and kept me reading. I enjoyed reading something a bit different and hope that the next reader enjoys it too =)

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
You've been tagged in the wishlist game! =)
arrived safely, thank you!
this arrived amidst a load of ray and ring books, so it got added to the pile and I've just realised it was a RABCK!
A really interesting read set in a post-war mental institution in England, and ending in the late 80s/early 90s once the main protagonist, Grace, has been moved out to the 'community'. The book is a love story told from an unusual perspective; definitely a bit different and a really good read.

An unusual story, and one that gave me a lot to think about. I think Grace will be in my mind for quite a while after reading this. Thanks for sharing!
