I have heard highly about this book, compared to the likes of Roald Dahl so I'm eager to read it and find out. Thanks for sending this wishlist book, jmsmom!
Read it last year soon after it arrived but forgot to journal it. I have just finished reading the second in this series, and for me, this book stands out as a great first book. I loved the mix of science and fantasy it offers...a time-travel adventure in space thoroughly enjoyable by both children and adults. The characters are lovable and ones you'd want to read more of...especially Meg and Charles Wallace. I shall be moving on to the third in the series soon!

Thank you for this surprise, I was meant to get a copy from the wishlist tag game but the bookcrosser didn't fulfill their commitment. But now I have a copy!! And this copy started as a wishlist tag, which is a happy coincidence.

I enjoyed the science of this book, and the characters were interesting. I didn't like the religious messaging, and found it startling to go from a physics conversation to a prayer.
