I've read some Anne Perry novels before but they were mysteries in the William Monk and the Charlotte & Thomas Pitt series. This one is set in England during World War I. I didn't enjoy it as much but that probably says more about my personal preferences than the writing. It's a basic thriller / suspense story.

I was given this by by a friend who is moving and I'm about to offer it to another friend.
