WILD RELEASE NOTES:
Left on a monument in the shape of a book, avenue Jean-Baptiste Lebas, as a part of the 52 Towns in 52 Weeks Challenge. I spilled detergent on my library while I was moving, so it's a bit dog-eared, but at least you know it's clean.
I enjoyed this collection of short stories, and have enjoyed Margaret Laurence in the past. I worry a bit about appropriation of voice (it's her stories about Africa, from the time she spent living there), but the truth is I don't know enough to really judge. But I've found Laurence insightful, and that she improves as you digest her work. I hope you enjoy it!
