The book tells the story of Carrie, who finds herself turned into a vampire. I liked the way she was torn between the two guys, although it was quit clear from the beginning what her final choice would be. And it seemed a little easy for her to adapt to the life of a vampire. A romantic fantasy story, light but entertaining to read.

I offered the book on the finnish forum, and so the book is moving on to the next reader. But I was so excited to send the book that I forgot to include a note with it! :) Enjoy!
The book is here! Thanks for this book rifter.
This was the first book by Armintrout for me, I might like to read the other books in this series in the future. The book was good, story line interesting and at times I didn't know whether to loathe Carrie or love her with her good vs evil ponderings. Towards the end I couldn't help but like her. Very entertaining read.
Thanks for sharing this book with me, rifter. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

The book is here! Thanks, Niksu!
This wasn't among the best vampire books I've read, but not among the worst either. Some parts were quite interesting and good, but sometimes I almost lost my interest to read the book. I thought it would be a good plot twist that Carrie was attracted to evil Cyrus, but for some reason this mostly annoyed me. Perhaps because I hated Cyrus from the beginning and couldn't wait that someone'd get him finished. The book came to a satisfying conclusion, but is clearly a first part of a series. I may read more books of this series if any should find its way to me.

Finally I got to read this book. I have to agree with Kemppu: I too have read better vampire novels. But this was entertaining enough. Clearly the first book of a serie; a lot of time was spent to "open" the characters. If I happen to get next volumes, I will read them.
