I should 've read this earlier. As is always the case with classics that turn out to be regular all-time classics... This is very very good. The characters are well-drawn. It's often funny.
It's very up-to-date, even if society has changed a lot since.
Hence, a worthy read.
Thank you Releanna for giving me the chance to read this.
I'll now RABCK it to someone who hasn't got a clue, but whom I owe a bit of favours still :-)

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:

Thanks a lot for your generous parcel motherof11! ^_^

I finished reading this a couple of days ago and enjoyed it very much. Funny and sparkling dialogues, great characters. It didn't quite end as I had suspected, but that makes it even better. I also really liked the 'sequel' bit where you get to find out what happens to the characters afterwards.
Thanks again motherof11 for sharing it with me :)

Thank you very much for sending this book to me! I promise I'll keep it moving again. :)
I was very glad to finally read Pymalion in its entirety. I knew plenty about it but it was great to finally put it all together.
Since it was the basis for "My Fair Lady" I will be taking it to the January "films of fancy meeting."
To the finder:
Calgary has an active group of BookCrossers that meet to swap books and discuss book crossing every second Saturday of the month at 11am at Cravings Market on Fairmount Drive SE. We always love to meet new crossers, so please join us any time you like!

Picked this up at the meetup today. I actually put my hand out for it!
Hello, Releanna, Bloedengel, Motherof11 and Tsjara! How are you?

That was so satisfying!! I have seen the play and the movie countless times, but this was the best! I loved the way Eliza's story ended! I will watch the movie in a totally new light now! Thank you for sharing this great book with me, it will be returned to the group.
Picked this up at the Valentines Day meeting - I have seen the movie a few times so looking forward to this.
I love the movie but I had trouble reading the play. Managed to make it through though and was glad I did. Some new insights into the story.
Bringing it to the April meet up of the Calgary BookCrossing group. This fits in so perfectly with the theme "Identity".
Picked up at get together
Unlike other readers I have never seen the movie or the play, so this was my first experience with Pygmalion. Despite some whiny moments from the characters, I really enjoyed the varied cast and on a whole found reading the play amusing and delightful. I loved how it was more of an unconventional love story instead of a very stereotypical one, and that Eliza remains fairly practical in her romantic choice.
Thanks for the fun read.

Taken to get together
Picked this up at March's meeting. We had 10 BookCrossers and lots of books. This is being added to my TBR mountain.
Adding this to the Calgary Book Crossing Book Box #2. This one has been on my shelf too long. Hopefully it will find a new reader in our group. Happy travels little book!
Released this book at the outdoor meetup that was so lovely for Sept.24!
