1994 Harper paperback of the 1993 thriller. This copy was a discard from Dimond Library. I found it there last year in the free books pile on the porch.

Edit August 30, 2016: This was a terrific story combining East Coast Mafia and L.A. filmmaking. It has a truly engaging central character, who I am appalled to find that I love, because he has such a relentless dark side. And the story seems entirely plausible, and wickedly satirical as well. I currently have this ranked at #488 on my ranked list of best-read books lately.
