This is a beautiful book, written so completely in the authentic Hepburn style that you can absolutely hear her voice ringing in your head as you read. My only disappointment was that I wish there had been more: more pictures, more details about her film roles, maybe an index? But Katie Hepburn always made her own rules, and we can only be grateful that we got to watch her.
But that's just one person's opinion. What do YOU think about this book?

My Review: I really enjoyed this book. I am a big fan of old movies and especially Katharine Hepburn. She is quite a character! I think part of what makes her such a wonderful actress is the way she is just open to everything. She seems like the type who would try anything at least once. That joy for life and new experiences makes her glow from within and seeing a movie of hers is a real experience.
My favorite Katharine Hepburn movie is Bringing Up Baby (1938) with Cary Grant, I also enjoyed The African Queen (1951), Adam's Rib (1949), and The Philadelphia Story (1940).
Favorite Quote from this book: "Love has nothing to do with what you are expecting to get--only with what you are expecting to give--which is everything."
This is another interesting book about Katharine Hepburn: Kate Remembered by: A. Scott Berg
