Journal Entry 1 by tqd from Sydney, New South Wales Australia on Monday, June 13, 2011
Donated to my bookcrossing addiction by my Dad. From the back of the book (any typos mine): VANISHING POINT - THE DANGEROUS EDGE OF THINGS WHERE ALL LIVES AND ALL ROADS CONVERGE. Carl Strassberger may have given up his role in his family's hugely successful financial business to pursue his artistic dreams, but when his brilliant brother-in-law Larry Lucas vanishes after completing the biggest deal of his career, Carl is urgently summoned to find him. What Carl discovers is that Lucas is not quite the man he seemed. In fact, he suffers from a severe mental disorder that can send his emotions on a roller-coaster ride between intense depression and manic elation. It is a condition that could have extreme consequences - wild folly on the one hand and suicide on the other. Drawn into the search against his will, Carl must risk everything to track down the sick but cunning man he thought he knew so well, and now suspects he never did.

Journal Entry 3 by Flight at Sydney, New South Wales Australia on Wednesday, June 15, 2011
Caught at Sydney June 2011 BookCrossing MeetUp. I don't quite know why I like Morris West's books but I do, so was happy to see one in the pile that I hadn't yet read.

Thanks, TQD, for another Morris West novel. Both my partner and I have read it. West has a distinctive approach to these novels in which he explores issues important to him. (Encourage your Dad!)
