One Moment, One Morning
5 journalers for this copy...
The 07:44 train from Brighton to London. Carriages packed with commuters. One woman occupies her time observing the people around her. Opposite, a girl applies her make-up. Across the aisle, a husband strokes his wife´s hands. Further along, a woman flicks through a glossy magazine.
Then, abruptly, everything changes: a man collapses, the train is stopped, an ambulance called. And for the three passangers that particular morning, life will never be the same again.

I took this book with me to my Doctor's appointment this morning... and just finished it. It was indeed one of those that you just don't want to put down.
Three different women whose life change in a moment. Two have been best friends for the longest and two meet as a result of the morning's event. That one moment brings the three together in friendship, thru trials that each must face.
Very moving and very well told.

This is not an author I know but the book looks interesting. Adding to Mt. ToBeRead and hoping it won't take too long to make it's way to the top. Thanks josierivers-enjoyed our meet-up.

Obviously, I didn't enjoy this book as much as previous readers. After "the moment," the story seemed extremely slow to me and I had to force myself to finish it.

I also could not put it down. The author got me to care about all three women. There was not a lot going on in terms of plot, but I just had to keep reading. A good read for me.
