Here's to a new author and a couple of interesting reviews :) Bought from Ex Libris bookshop in Bucharest.
LE: This really was an entertaining read and had some breathtaking moments. I was however expecting some more courthouse action and less intrusion in the main character's life. The focus is shifted a bit too much from the murder to the attorney's private lives. But I'm glad I've read it and it kept me busy these days :)

Good plot, but I struggled with the weak romance elements!

Not a bad read although at times it didn't seem as if it knew if it wanted to be a romantic suspense novel or a crime drama. On the plus side there were plenty of twists, red herrings & sub-plots to keep me entertained but on the downside I didn't find the relationship between Taylor & her father particularly credible.
Overall a good enough read which for me was spoilt by the totally cheesy epilogue which wouldn't have been out of place in a Mills & Boon...but thats just my opinion ;o)
As I finished it on the p!ane home from the US - & airport releasing is a no-no! - it's back in the UK but ready to travel again soon....

I picked this up in the Macmillan unit at calderdale royal hospital where I work as a healthcare assistant. I will return it there this week. Can't believe it's been in Romania and America! I hope the next person takes it somewhere exotic. Roz Allen
