A good read, although a bit wordy and with a lot of characters and sub-plots to keep track of.

It took me a couple of weeks to finish this book as I have unfortunately been very busy but those days that I did read I found myself enticed into the book and I just wanted to read more and more and more. The style was wonderful to read (most of the time) but I do admit that during the last half of this book I found myself struggling to cope with the details in the action scenes, it was so face paced and sketchy and I just was not able to keep track. Still this was an enjoyable read, so much so that I have just purchased the second book in this series (with this being book one).

The last few chapters are the key to this entire story and it comes packed with twisted plots and genuine gasps (or at least I did) and I would recommend this book for thriller fans looking for something a little different.
